About Paps

Paps is the founder of Street Talent Productions, and produces music from the incredibly difficult environment of Freetown, Sierra Leone, where recording time costs most than his usual living expenses for a period of months. As a stark example, Paps and his friends and fellow artists live on a budget somewhere in the region of $1 to $2 USD per day – around the cost of this single, in fact!

“Freetown Girls” is a track which captures the spirit and energy of Paps and his fellow Street Talent Productions artists well. The track is upbeat and cheerful, and even references Bill Gates, while going some way to explain the passion Paps and his contemporaries feel for the ladies in Sierra Leone’s capital, Freetown.
